Kakero means go.

Kakero is the imperative — the command form — of the verb kakeru (駆ける, “to run, to charge forward”). Where kakeru describes the motion, Kakero orders it: go.

The meaning is the leap. We read that command as ignition — fire is our visual metaphor, not the dictionary.

The K catches fire.

The first K in KAKERO is the mark. The lower diagonal stroke becomes a flame — letter, name, and concept resolve to a single shape.

The K stands alone.

When space is tight — favicon, app icon, avatar — the K monogram carries the brand by itself.

Give it room.

Minimum clearspace around the mark is x — the width of the K's stem. Treat it as the brand's personal space.

Never crop or crowd. No element — text, image, edge — should enter the dashed frame.

One typeface family. Different weights for hierarchy, mono for utility. No exceptions in marketing or product.

Pair with itself. Geist Bold for headlines and the wordmark, Medium for subheads, Regular for body. Never use any other sans-serif alongside it.

Don't do these.

Six things that erode the mark fast. If you find yourself reaching for any of them, step back.

Don't stretch.The mark is a fixed proportion. Scale uniformly.

Don't recolor the flame.The flame is always Kakero orange — never blue, green, purple, or gradient.

Don't add effects.No glows, drop shadows, bevels, or outlines. The mark stays flat.

Don't put it on busy or low-contrast backgrounds.If the K isn't crisp, you're in the wrong colorway.

Don't rotate.The K is always upright. Tilted = broken.

Don't sub the typeface.The wordmark is Geist Bold. Don't combine the mark with any other font.

How Kakero talks.

Imperative. Confident. Specific. We sell modernization to people who have heard a lot of pitches. We don't add to the noise.

Principle 01

Direct.

Short sentences. Strong verbs. If a word doesn't earn its place, cut it. The name is a command — match the energy.

Ship it.Let's circle back.
Principle 02

Specific.

We work in security and AI — vagueness is a tell. Cite numbers, name systems, describe outcomes. No buzzwords without payload.

Cut MTTR 60%.Synergies at scale.
Principle 03

Calm.

We don't need to shout — the work is the proof. No exclamation points in marketing, no hedging in technical writing.
